Don't forget that May was in favour of remaining in the EU.  Now we will see if she exactly where she stands on post-Brexit Britain.

you haven't worked that out yet......

after a "bad" election she said she wouldn't make the same mistake again.....

(working with only 2 people with tory mp's not having a clue what the plan was)

1 year later she has done the same again.....

Being in charge of Brexit negotiations is a complete poisoned chalice. No matter on the outcome you won't satisfy some and for others you'll be too weak. Notice how the main Brexit voices (Boris, Gove, Walter the softie) aren't coming forward to volunteer.

Oh, she was mental for going for PM after Dave quit. The Brexit PM was always going to be doomed job.

Or maybe she went for it out of a genuine sense of duty. Some of the other potentials definitely seem/ed more motivated by ugly ambition.

barmy said last week that they may be movement on the irish border

It's a temporary issue thanks to the demographics. Arlene may very well be the last DUP First Minister given that several of the DUP seats are looking increasingly marginal. After that it's just a matter of time.

I wonder whether DUP ministers will refuse to sit in the Dáil?

Why do you believe that ending the temporary partition would exile Ireland from the EU?

you are one of the posters that has said how important the irish border was endlessly.....

it was completely manufactured as i have said all along.....

the eu have said endlessly how important it is to protect the sm and cu....

its backfired.....

if the eu can't do anything to the irish border because its not the eu's legal right to do so, what other choice have they got but to remove ireland from the eu.......

remember how important the sm and cu apparently is....
