people don't want a remoaner deal....

42 letters in apparently......

The people now understand that you can’t beat full membership.

If just 15% of Conservative MPs would write a letter saying they’ve lost confidence in May then the whole Brexit process could be handed over to a leaver they consider upstanding, intelligent and honourable enough to lead the party - if just to get through the negotiations. They’ve had a week, and I know most of the leavers are too lazy to write a letter, but they all have secretaries don’t they?

In your apparent haste to fire back a, not so clever as it turns out, derisory repost (the childish personal bit of which is just laughed at) you seem to have entirely misunderstood the point.

Irrespective of what EU countries may be legally planning (at London's considerable detriment btw*) , I was clearly referring to new regulatory and legal frameworks *WE*, y'know *the UK*   may soon have to set up  because of the referendumb vote.

Hope that helps. Now where's paswt's florist.....:flowers:

* If you think that EU countries setting up "english law" courts to shaft London is not actually #faceitwealllost, then perhaps the reality of who may be "the thicko" here has also gone straight over your head

The Grauniad:

On the eve of Sunday’s special Brexit summit, the British ambassador to the EU, Sir Tim Barrow, wrote to concede that Gibraltar would not necessarily be covered by a future trade deal with the EU.

The development gives Spain a veto over Gibraltar benefiting from a future trade and security agreement between Brussels and the British government.

The Spanish leader, Pedro Sánchez, reacted immediately, claiming the UK would now have to open talks on “joint sovereignty” of Gibraltar, over which Spain has had a claim since the military dictatorship of Francisco Franco.

Sánchez said: “Once the UK has left the EU, Gibraltar’s political, legal and even geographic relationship with the EU will go through Spain …

“Spain will be a fundamental pillar of the relationship between Gibraltar and the EU as a whole.

“When it comes to the future political declaration, the European council and the European commission have backed Spain’s position, and backed it as never before.

“In these fundamental future negotiations, we’re going to have to talk about joint sovereignty and many other things with the UK.”
