How sad. Took a principled stand and the vote of no confidence was following a campaign led by a past UKIP candidate for constituency who joined the Torys last year. It seems entry-ism isn't only a Labour issue.

he was more than happy to bring down the gov............

openly lied to get elected.......wonder who's paying him.............

Leaving the EU does not change globalisation.  The EU creates a large trading bloc with can compete with the USA and the upcoming economies.

makes market access easier not been in the eu.....

also cheaper........

Perhaps one or two people and political organisations in the UK need to realise that the days of UK empire are over for ever; that globalisation is the new world; and that UK economy has largely become service industry based, with foreign owned manufacturing based here for one reason only - EU and attendant area access.

There is much more to the UK economy than that. Massive R & D, science, technology global centre of excellence where investors, entrepreneurs and top scientists and IT researchers want to be. UK has more foreign inward investment than France and Germany combined "despite Brexit" and second only to the US globally, but all we are told is that we need the EU and are too small and helpless on our own.  Too much running down of the country's prospects. The UK has always been a world trader (inward and outward) and always will be.

Grieve was happy to stand for election on a party manifesto that promised to deliver on the result of the referendum.  He was been relentless in trying to get a second referendum (an establishment, not a 'peoples' vote) - the result of which has been predetermined.

I believe his mother is French (or part French?), he regularly appears on French broadcast media and holds the Legion D'Honneur.  Begs the question of where priorities lie...

Oily = Olly Robbins.  Senior pro EU civil serpent who has been a major player in the disastrous negotiations.
