Yeah. Right. And just as Liam Fox was about to announce a new trade deal with Pitcairn Island that would be nearly as good as the one we had. :whatever:

It’s reality’s fault, chump. The ‘easiest in history’ Withdrawal Agreement and the third party trade deals that were promised were fantasies.

Freggy. You forgot to list the IMPORTS, which are even higher from the EU. So there isn't a problem unless they wish to inhibit their own exports. Why would they want to do that?

Contrary to what Woolley and Woody say, the EU isn’t cancelling vetos, increasing integration or forcing anyone to join an EU Army:

As Grease-Mogg says:

“Fortunately, the Multiannual Financial Framework, which lasts for seven years, will be up for discussion in 2020 so if we are still in, in 2020, we would be able to veto it – causing maximum inconvenience to the European Union.

He said: “Equally, Monsieur Macron has come up with a whole slew of new plans to have a more integrated European Union. He wants to tie the whole thing more tightly together as a follow-up, essentially, to the euro.

“But that would require treaty change and we would be able to obstruct that. And a European Union army would also require treaty change.”

So, it’s not about sovereignty or control, or the changing nature of the EU. We know it’s not about immigration or better trade deals. Neither is it about the constitutional integrity of the UK. It is about some very, very rich people, who are also incredibly selfish, and their tax arrangements.

I have never said that "EU ...... cancelling vetos, increasing integration or forcing anyone to join an EU Army." is imminent, but it is indisputably the direction of travel, otherwise we would not now have a "union" where we once had a "common market".

There are not enough very, very, rich people to have swung the referendum. It cuts across all sections of society. The EU is toxic to UK cohesion. There are people who do not want to live in a country that is ruled from beyond its borders, it is as plain as that. I have properties on the continent and staying in the EU would more than likely cost me less in taxes and charges on those as a non EU citizen. There are more important principles involved. Principles that our predecessors fought and died for are greater than short term expediency.

Without free access to the Single Market the U.K. investors are leaving and Fox is getting battered. This is typical:

Thats ex-colony Dubai saying it’ll take the U.K. years to realise how hugely diminished its position is after brexit.
