The UK has sold them down the river and sooner of later they might finally realize that. He made the observation that big events are seldom so important in the context of history as they seem at the time, and opined that if you were to look at a 40 year UK GDP chart with Brexit in the middle, you'd be hard pushed to pick out when it happened.
