Elitist Britain doesn't change does it? Two world wars that killed the masses because of the deeds of the elite, that were won by the masses and in spite of the procrastinations and plotting of the elite. The crushing of the masses by Thatcher and the way Britain and the rich elite is kept going by the graft of the masses without acknowledgement and reward.

OK, I feel better now! lol

Who is the elite here, though?

I should imagine Liz is less than amused that her Prime Min is a totally amoral narcissistic serial philanderer and inveterate liar.

Anyone of any decency would immediately resign after such a calamitous misjudgement so expect Boris Johnson to stay on in the role he is clearly totally unsuitable for. Unless you're Dominic Cummings of course....

Most of the pundits seem to think there are three ways out of this:

Jezza resigns and returns to the back benches so the majority opposition can coalesce behind a leader they are happy to put into #10.

A government of national unity - with the ERG, don't think so

A referendum on a deal.

Rock and a hard place...

Or we have a word with Mr. Macron and apply to become an overseas French territory. That works for me.

Anyone else want to go on strike?

Jezza could be leader of the Labour Party but not PM whilst a temporary PM is in place.

Still think Boris will bluster it out and then there’ll be a no deal exit on 31st.

3 Page summary of the judgement by President of the Supreme Court, Lady Hale.

https://www.supremecourt.uk/cases/docs/uksc-2019-0192-summary.pdf

This Court has already concluded that the Prime Minister’s advice to Her Majesty was unlawful, void and of no effect. This means that the Order in Council to which it led was also unlawful, void and of no effect and should be quashed. This means that when the Royal Commissioners walked into the House of Lords it was as if they walked in with a blank sheet of paper. The prorogation was also void and of no effect. Parliament has not been prorogued. This is the unanimous judgment of all 11 Justices.

So Boris, stick that in your pipe and smoke it, eh?
