Here's a photo I've just taken from the back of the big cruise ship in Liverpool today 😎

The new IOM terminal site looks a total car crash

Here’s a photo of you taking that photo earlier. Probably :) Jokes aside, there really is nothing there yet. Some smart lawyer types need to check how we could walk away from this.

How much more, I wonder, will future IOMSPCo tickets be?

Enough to make certain people's holiday cottages an attractive option for staycation... 😉

If they want to keep the current operating profit levels after paying for new ships and supporting Peel Holdings, probably unaffordable for us plebs !

I wonder if Government the taxpayers, should have paid as much as we did for the SPCO given the levels of expenditure required to keep it afloat , maybe literally.

Peel and their little helpers in DoI, Treasury etc are trying to make sure lots and lots of taxpayers money is irrevocably allocated to this disaster before there is an election after which the new government might be more sceptical of the whole mess.

I've thought (and posted) this in the past.

There has long been something wholly un-natural about IoM Government's willingness to shovel taxpayers' money at the Peel Group.
