There may be other operators who would welcome an alternative to their current landing stage. May help with the costs, ensure fuller utilisation and therefore enhance the passenger facilities there. Dirty Buggane
I for one never thought the terminal would be a great idea freight or no freight, as is quite obvious due to being an ill thought out turd. Which no matter how the government polish it or roll it in glitter is still a turd.

La Colombe
"The terminal is said to be costing the Manx Government in the region of £70m, almost double the original projection of around £38m." And almost 4 times the original projection of £20m. And almost an infinite number of times the original projection of fuck all. 2

monasqueen
"Liverpool's new Isle of Man ferry terminal is nearing completion" Who was it who said that it would be finished by New Year?
2112
According to the NPM and Minister Tim, there is still work to be completed on the new ferry terminal. Ultimately the Steam Packet will have overall responsibility for when it becomes operational.

One would love to know what the financial arrangements will be in respect of this Govt-owned facility and the "arms-length", Govt-owned ferry operator. To include how much it's going to cost to run and how and over how long they intend to recoup the spend?
