Agreed.  Arranging a £42m green fund with no plan shows that government have lost the plot.

Before any MHK proposes a use for the 42million, they should speak to people forced to use foodbanks and those waiting over three years for treatment.  Then decide whether spending money installing Tesla power banks in the second homes is a justifiable use of public money

Actually they're expecting us to pay for such frippery's ourselves!

Most of the £42m is probably already incorporated into departmental plans

Doubt the Climate Board will get £3m to spend on sustainable island projects - if indeed it gets even that

I think we all know where the majority of the £400 million will end up!

Tim said hopeful twice and hopefully once so we are ok hopefully concerning any extra cash 😏 .   To be fair the operation has gone too far to do anything more than grin and bear it and it will be advantageous to have our own terminal and new boat to cope with the 50,000 visitors we are hoping for, there goes that new buzz word again 😂.

Ah the old promenade ruse, voids in someone's bank balance more like!

Voids left in the future bank accounts of individual Manx taxpayers...

It would be advantageous to have a competent health service, or mental health services, or front line services or new schools or indeed anything that, the whose guess 100 million ? could have provided on the island !

I repeat something which made sense at 20 million (if it did) can't possibly fit the same business case at perhaps 100 million !

Oh yes it can. Mr Allinson will soon be presenting a plan for an additional 500,000 visitors, all arriving via the new Liverpool terminal. DoI will fast track the installation of the Horse Tram rails to the Sea Terminal in order to provide the attraction necessary to achieve this. Once this is inserted into the Business Plan the £100m will be seen to be the bargain it is.
