Stick a few benches in it and rename it Baker's Folly. It can be a nice spot to sit and also a cautionary tale in the land of the scousers.

I hope we are not paying for that as well? maybe that is where the extra costs have come from, Mr Baker doesn't look like a bluenose though!

Partly, some of the extra cost is for the Comin box. They get their own helipad and everything. 

 

Why they can't just use the undersea monorail like everyone else is beyond me.

So, this seems to be the spot going by the pictures on the fence. I obviously can’t go inside but even a few snaps from a public road clearly show there’s nothing there yet. All the urgent money talk sounded like this was almost done but it’s a car park right now, nothing more. What’s going on?

Peel and their little helpers in DoI, Treasury etc are trying to make sure lots and lots of taxpayers money is irrevocably allocated to this disaster before there is an election after which the new government might be more sceptical of the whole mess.

It's clear to see from the aerial shot (imagined or real) on the marketing board why Liverpool lost the rights to the UNESCO badge. There's very little in the way of heritage left.
