Andy Onchan
I wonder if the fact that the Executive Chairman of Loganair is a Manxman had anything to do with the contract arrangements?

I think they were operating a very good IOM-GLA route prior to that?

Alas not. Im not too convinced BA will want to work with Loganair on this route to be honest given other things that may be going on. Flights are now available to book on BA.com, so they've also got a BA flight number and you can book connections on one ticket. They are using LHR T2 rather than T5. jaymann
I just saw them too. Actually cheaper to book on BA.com and you can get Avios.

mad_manx
Havent flown to LHR but is it possible to transit security between terminals there without clearing security again (if on a connecting flight departing from LHR?) MAN was very good that way when flybe was around Land in T3 from IOM show your ticket and walk into T1 departures if you had an onward flight from T1 Edited December 1, 2020 by mad_manx

Not sure if it is because lots of USA flights used to leave from T3. I was only going to BCN. T2 is a nice terminal to use

Glad to see some posts are a little more positive about the London Heathrow route now ! The island needs strong links to the capital with a strong onward set of connections this will be really valuable in the future if it can be maintained.
