So which will be the two airlines the fat lad is chatting to? Loganair and EasyJet (for MAN)? Ryanair (god forbid)? Eastern? SkellyAir?

(One of those isn't really an airline).

Going on Skelly's record of edicts and successes, the next announcement will be a runway and air hub at the Summerland site...

We use Ryanair at least 2 or 3 times every year for Spain and have only ever been delayed once. Can't fault the service. The prices, if you book early, are pennies. The only downside is that because they are so cheap and reliable, too many hen parties and the like use them and can sometimes spoil the flight. Crews are very professional though and usually take no prisoners.

It’ll be Stobart. They’ve got the planes and crew. They’ve IoM experience. They aren’t franchising or wet leasing to flybe.

No website, no booking system.

Probably do it as a franchise of Aer Lingus to tie into the Dublin service.

That would seem to be the most likely scenario.

John means they don't have their own booking site, nor do they fly under their own brand.

For that reason, they'd need to fly under the Aer Lingus brand, and use their website, call centre etc. to able to take bookings and collect money.

Sorry Dilli, was using shorthand to get message across whilst on the move.

Its why they haven’t been able to take over immediately
