Our stupid Government has a policy to attract HNW wrong uns like these people.

Failed economics.

Unfair tax - the rest of us pay higher proportion of income than these greedy people.

Their mansion constructions are encouraged at the same time our moronic politicians restrict the property aspirations of everyday people.

IOM Government fails again and again and again.

Useless.

They will have put more into the local economy in the last 12 months, than most of the active members on here will have combined.

Surprise us. Show everyone the data.

Proportionately, everyone else is paying more.

If Government made an effort on keeping our younger people on Island, we'd be much better off.

I didn’t mention proportions.

They pay lots of wages.  They pay VAT every time they buy a car at Jackson’s,  their airport fees help keep the place running, the building work other house put a lot of money in a lot of people’s pockets.

All of which gets respent.

Plus, a couple of hundred k of income tax before they even start.  What’s the average direct tax and No take from Joe bloggs?  About ten k a year in tax and employers NI?

Like them or not (I don’t) people like them provide jobs to keep out young people here and help keep the hospitality and other sectors that we need to grow to keep youngsters alive and growing.

Not exclusively I don’t think.

That is why you need a good mix of people who are wealthy and provide some Trickle down effect, and others who work for them and in the places they spend their money and everyone in between.

Front page again on Daily Mail tonight it seems to be hotting up no sign of it going away quietly.

She will be out of the House of Lords in the new year. But she will get to keep her very important sixty million quid which is all she really wants otherwise she’d have already offered to hand it back as part of any public PR campaign. It would be the easiest and simple thing to do to make a lot of this go away. But she won’t do it as she genuinely thinks she’s entitled to the money for being an entrepreneur
