STOP PRESS Mr Rimmington only the day before stated that he had sacked Brenda Cannell from the Planning Committee because she had voted against DoLGE. Mr Rimmington should he now sack himself???? Unfortunately, this isn't the kind of government in which people are willing to 'fall on the sword' for anything as 'trivial' as total incompetence. IMO it is only the fact that there have been scandals on a larger and more public scale, keeping the spotlight off Rimington, that has enabled him to get away with being such an ineffectual and inadequate minister. FCMR Posted July 14, 2005 Share Posted July 14, 2005 Peter Karran wanted an amendment to the 0ver 45s housing problem. His idea was for the Government to go halfs on the cost of the property and a low interest loan for the buyer.
