The ECHR effectively prevents the UK from having control over immigration and bogus asylum seekers and let's face it, by not applying for asylum in the first safe country an asylum seeker encounters they are by definition bogus. Did I not say that we could have done this (decades ago) without leaving the EU? Yep I did. To therefore use it as justification for wanting to leave the EU seems a bit false.
