It’s so important a topic he’s raising it in Tynwald. Well of course...the Albanian mafia are fed up with £5 billion annually in profits from cocaine importation and distribution and instead are switching to blagging dodgy quids from a rock in the sea that produces probably 0.01% of the pound coins that the UK does. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the one on the main road through Ballabeg, opposite the entrance to Friary Park as others have already posted. It's a raised sleeping policeman/speed hump arrangement installed recently by one of DOI's favoured contractors. Clearly unsupervised and without full comprehension of what was to be done. gettafa Posted January 15, 2019 Share Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) Best thing that can be done for that road is make it a clearway. Roads are for driving on, a thoroughfare, not an extension of a property or as a right to park a car. The situation is especially irritating when in many such cases (Colby, Strang Road, St Johns etc) the (lazy and selfish) residents have a perfectly good driveway to park on.
