Not going for effect, I simply chose it as being preferable to my ugly mug and to make it clear from the very start who, or rather WHAT I was.

As for any contradiction, no. None whatsoever. Nor am I proposing concentration camps but rather internment camps much like the internment camps on the island to contain possible and potential enemies of the UK because sure as eggs is eggs the creatures committing the crimes that they take in their stride are just as much enemies of the UK and probably more than the people banged up during the war.

It was your statement that I had in mind rather than your avatar.

Your distinction between concentration camps and internment camps is a semantic one. Wiki definition, with which I agree:

"As a result of the Holocaust, the term "concentration camp" carries many of the connotations of "extermination camp" and is sometimes used synonymously. Because of these ominous connotations, the term "concentration camp", originally itself a euphemism, has been replaced by newer terms such as internment camp, resettlement camp, detention facility, etc., regardless of the actual circumstances of the camp, which can vary a great deal."

It is the nature of your solution that is suggestive of Nazism rather than the terminology you do or don't use.

  1. No I haven't.
  2. Lots. Not many
  3. How many did you ask to know different?

Only a small group of ex servicemen numbering 39 (based on the "like" system). A large number of family and friends (none who have served) also think it's a good idea.

Just think of the endless possiblilities. The regular servicemen and women could continue in the way they are now and the National Service men and woman could be used around the UK. The government are forking out huge amounts in benefits so why not get something out of it.

So who is going to train them?  Will it be compulsory?  Will they have to wear brown coats?

Also, the million dollar (pound?) question...who is going to pay for it?

So who is going to train them - THERE ARE ENOUGH EX SOLDIERS OF ALL RANKS OUT THERE TO DO THIS

Will it be compulsory? - YES

Will they have to wear brown coats? - WHAT AN IDIOTIC QUESTION. UNIFORM CERTAINLY

Also, the million dollar (pound?) question...who is going to pay for it? - LEARN TO READ (الحكومة تتخلى عن مبالغ ضخمة في الفوائد ، فلماذا لا نخرج منها.) POSTED AGAIN IN A LANGUAGE YOU ARE MORE FAMILIAR WITH

I didn't actually think you were as stupid as you are making yourself out to be

Nazism aka national socialism has clear blue water between having facilities where known criminals who are not British citizens are contained and concentration camps, a British invention used in the Boer war including as extermination camps.

To try to bring a factor into the discussion that simply is not there by any association is disingenuous to say the least and teeters on the breach of falling under the scope of Godwin's law.

For time I thought you to be a sensible poster.

With that nonsense outburst, I guess sensible was the wrong term to use.

Richard, why do you and some others revert to personal insults, some potentially very hurtful rather than sticking to the matter in hand.

It's not clever, it certainly isn't funny, and in some cases and I'm thinking of references to my age could be very hurtful indeed?

I can be as sensible as you want or I can lower myself down a notch and argue with your "views" no problem

"With me what you and others get is what I am.  How you and others choose to interpret what you get which so often is what you and others WANT to get is not my concern. "

Sound familiar?
