For example Edwina Curry made an arse of herself when some idiot civil servant while trying to be posh referred to egg producers in such a way as to result in entirely the wrong message to be put out. Naturally it was hushed up as the embarrassment it would have been to HMG was considered a worse result than the implications of EC's message.
