IOM already has a beneficial ownership register which is available to Irish Authorities. The IOM tax office also has had an info sharing arrangement with the Irish for over ten years.

I think they see these developments as proceeding to an open wide register with trading implications throughout the whole offshore net. CM Howard Quayle referred to this recently....although the IOM is apparently off the hook for the time being.
