Max Power
I guess that this is all we will know for now.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-44547788 Having been in a situation where I have been in a lot of pain and prescribed strong painkilling drugs in hospital, I can almost see how a doctor would try to ease the pain of elderly people by prescribing slightly more than normal. You would have thought that the alarm bells would have been ringing as they started dying though?
Mr. Sausages
Depends what the painkillers were for. When my grandad was dying of cancer he was on a morphine drip in bed at home. The doctor set it at number two. We asked if we could turn it up. He said he couldn't, but then sort of gestured toward it as if to say "but nobody will stop you" before he left the room. As far as I know nobody touched it, but I sometimes think I should have done.
