hissingsid
Everyone should be allowed to have their own opinions and beliefs and as long as they do not impinge on other people that is their business and should be left to get on with it unless they tolerate terrorist organisations using their premises to preach hate. twinkle
the only problem I have with this bunch of fruitcakes is the wangling their way into our schools, this should not be tolerated. "I'm mean, nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I can put a round in a flea's ass at 200 meters." work it out!.

"Slack Alice'll be sliding down the greasy pole tonight" "Everard is never floppy." "He's banging on the back door again." Audience full of old dears with no idea what he was on about pissing themselves laughing. From God and the meaning of life to Larry Grayson in less than a page. Or father Christmas, or the tooth fairy etc. Hmmmm. I don't think any of them are implicated in creation though, and actually I think I do know that they are not real. However, the profound question of how everything came to be and why is not so easily dismissed. Whenever I am stumped for an answer, I often defer to Einstein. He had a good take on religion as he did on most things he put his enormous powers of thought to. He favoured a pantheistic god by which all of creation is in itself a manifestation of the divine.

That's because he never really understood quantum mechanics. I suspect if he was around now...he'd be closer to atheist, given what we know now. I've studied physics to quite some depth...plus 70 years of progress has occured since he died...you numpty. An 'A'level physics student could put him right on a few things since. That's your argument re god. Silly, isn't it? eta, and actually yes one of them, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is credited with creating the universe. NoTail
I can't see any point in believing in something for which there is no evidence like God.
