Ballymurphy and Bloody Sunday turned civil rights protests and protests about interning people on suspicion of being a member of a pretty toothless IRA into a full blown civil war! The attitude to what was being allowed to happen to Catholics in NI by the British Government was disgraceful and was directly responsible for thousands of deaths. Putting the Paras in there was also disgraceful, there was only going to be one outcome, they were not there to police things, they are trained to kill!
