thommo2010
John Higgins should have been banned. He offered to throw matches. Great player but question marks will always be by his name

2112
Rob Callister is on the NPM complaining about the lack of a traffic survey, through Onchan village. The DOI hasn’t got the money or staffing. Rob Callister says they infrastructure needs to be in place before we grow the population. I don’t think CM Cannan will really care if Onchanites are stuck in a traffic queue in Onchan Village, especially when the Mountain Road is closed. There have been issues with the traffic lights since they changed them 5-6 years ago. DOI have had hundreds of complaints and done nothing about it. Didn’t he sit on the Promenade Committee?

I think you'll find it's the Ramseyites that get stuck in the traffic queues, especially when the Mountain Road is closed.

Omobono
and he was as much use there, as he has been everywhere else in government , ! we should be looking for a change ,
2112
Todays news on the NPM features Rob Callisters one man campaign in Onchan, over the traffic lights at Avondale Road/Main Road and traffic issues in the village. It’s rather amusing really, he was in the Department that created the issues, he claims so he obviously has no influence over decisions made. Now he is an ex Minister who has no influence within any government departments, isn’t liked by some of his colleagues (due to tribalism and backstabbing), and is resorting to parish pump matters to get noticed. At this moment I’m sure those residents who are facing financial squeeze with rising taxes and utilities will want their MHK to focus on their standards of living rather than traffic management issues. joebean
Mr Callister has settled into his level; as a local councillor and representative. It’s a shame the people of Onchan see fit to see him paid as a national politician from the public purse, but that’s Manx politics for you. We need and deserve a bit better for our money.

Probably no worse than Moorhouse with his train whistle & seagull questions! Perhaps they see themselves as the opposition!!
