It mentions in the article that it is being paid for by some group but even so the optics of it is just bad.

Said it before, but we don't need to be on any world stage, no other country could care and those that do have other means to exert their control.

Focus on getting our own house in order.  Perhaps when that is done, we can look to doing the rounds again.

Paid for by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association CPA to which the Isle of Man contributes presumably.

I think the IOM government have written a few big cheques to the CPA (directly or indirectly)...but can't find any detail in Hansard, accounts etc.

...would appreciate someone else giving it a try.
