Why are you saying hopefully you won’t have to publish your expenses, we didn’t ask you to, idiot!! We already know you are over paid and have to much time on your hands that you are busy marketing yourself. Sharing Jeremy Kyle shite to make yourself feel important. Get off your arse and do some work....work..not blogging, arguing, big yourself up, condescending idiot that you are, work! You sound like a complete egotistical idiot. An idiot who thinks the general public are as daft as you are. The only person happy to read your pathetic made up expenditure list is the other Onchan MHK who will be happy you spend so much on stamps to write to your make believe friends in Lapland. If MHKs had given their expense payment to charity quietly in the past how would you know? Any point you might have about publishing expenses is lost in the bile you're spewing out, that no one wants to read.

As you say though why would they fund it? It was pretty much a holiday to watch a pool competition and have a chat with the organizers so why should the taxpayer (via the Department) fund it? Which is ironic really as one of the versions of reality Callister has offered above is that it was paid for on his expenses so in that case they did! I thought that would be up to Creegen if the island gets the world rights to pool. He is the Minister in charge of sports. Would be nice to know if Creegen has been invovled or will it be another DfE fiasco. It will end up DfE funding for the first year then passing on to DESC saying don't worry it is only Half a million Pounds a year to hold the event, out of your budget. But don't worry the return to the island economy is uncountable from the advertising, the seven people who come to play in it and their two mates spend on island. The Dog's Dangly Bits
There will be a couple of hundred players I expect. Plus others. Don't forget it is part of a professional and amateur tour with a points system etc plus prize money. They travel round the country and are usually well attended. I don't think it is costing enormous amounts of money either in terms of what support Government provides to it. It's good to get involved in these things. Professional snooker tour events have happened in Gibraltar. No reason for the IOM not to get involved in events. Darts event here is now of the main events on the BDO calendar.
