The problems up South have been a feature for the last 6 to 9 months with regard to relaying roads, numerous gas leaks, Telecom, Amenity site road closure. etc. It seems never a day goes by without some new problem that needs a diversion or traffic lights. The planning, co-ordination and involvement with locals would make an interesting debate. And how would that conversation go then? Apple
2 hours ago, Boris Johnson said: And how would that conversation go then? It would not be asking for permission but be about forewarning to enable alternative arrangements to be made for say parking, or choosing different routes etc. As for the Manx Gas. at one point they dug up 17 patches I counted on the road out from PSM too four roads. Not sure what the issues are in Castletown but again, not forewarning so we can bypass the area. It is simply about communication but I was informed recently that DOI / Commissioners discussions about traffic management are 'confidential'. Go figure.

They did some work in Arbory and Malew Street a few months back, Mann Construction on behalf of Manx Gas. The way they relayed the block paving after is shocking. Anyone
He’d best get his shovel out then and go help ( although in his case he’d probably hinder ).
Dave Hedgehog
Good news. The bits of red concrete where they left a gap between it and the rails dont seem to have any cracks. It has all started to crumble instead. 1
