Banker
Harmer must be laughing that he passed this major muck up into Tim Baker, most of the blame is Harmers as he had been in charge and will see him defeated at next election

That lies with others who would be more gainfully and economically employed picking litter in the street.

When they find out other workers have been jailed for minor transgressions no one will want to come here to work The collective nouns are interesting. Why a kerbing "gang" but a block-paving "squad"; and does this mean the DOI are a clusterfuck "crew"? 1

There are rules about that kind of thing, it is no surprise that this has been flagged up. There is no way that gas main was deep enough, its really simple stuff. This picture just about breaks every rule for service laying. Supposed to be in different trenches and different depths . Electric running over the top of Gas and water also directly laying on Gas is just so wrong and dangerous .

buzz
Those look like old cables that are over the gas mains, probably going to be removed as new cables are/have been laid.
joebean
Mr Baker will be along shortly with another masterful conversion of obvious fuck-up into carefully planned progress. Slippage is not slippage, it is just flexible project completion dates, apparently.

Non-Believer
If it's not being done right now - how long after the prom is completed () will they be digging it up again to rectify faults arising because of this workmanship?

They are laid, conections on gas and some electric are made off . And the water over the gas looks like its ready for a connection to it . Even the electric under the gas pipes looks like new connection points . Edited October 2, 2020 by Numbnuts
