notwell
It is coming up out of the drains so clearly either there is a blockage or the volume of water is too much.
Paul_Peel
It's probably due to unusually heave rain, it probably will only rain this much once every 50 years or so .... just like that storm we had last year ...
Zammo Maguire
Ha thought there would a a few posts about that. Nice pooling of water on the newly resurfaced stretch between the QB and Braddan Bridge too

Zammo Maguire
And now we have a public enquiry for the prom plans http://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/isle-of-man-news/inquiry-begins-into-21m-plan-to-redevelop-douglas-promenades-1-7589355 I was wondering why they hadn't started in November as planned. asitis
Public enquiry is another waste of time and money, we simply do not have the 21 million required for another rolls royce scheme and a cost effective alternative needs to be found. Gawne does not understand the concept of fiscal reality ! We have serious financial problems which are not going to be addressed by wasting more money, we need to fix and consolidate until hopefully times improve. Our politicos need to remember that much of our current situation has been created by them ! and someone needs to get a grip before it is too late !. Non-Believer
Our politicos need to remember that much of our current situation has been created by them ! and someone needs to get a grip before it is too late !. But as always, the slate will be wiped clean when the current administration is dissolved in time for next September's Election; no-one will be accountable for what went on. Personally, can't wait for the next kid's party magic show at the next Budget....

I'm concerned the cost of the enquiry, delays and non ordering of the currency is going to exceed the £21M. TBT.
