Since the very start of the project I wondered about the curing environment for the laid concrete. Plenty of info out there on this subject...

While I'm sure this is right the cracks I photographed on a Sunday was from the red concrete being laid on the Thursday before ie 3 days maximum

But... all it would take would be for one lycra-lout to take a tumble in front of a tram and lose a hand or a foot, and the tram would never run again on that section. And all that construction money is wasted.

decapitated lycra louts and no more trams on the prom,  if ever there was a win win this is it.

It'll get to the stage in the not too distant future where you'll have to be in possession of some sort of permit to even fire up an internal combustion engine. Hopefully I'll be past caring.

You'll be 6 foot under by then.  We are a long way off that.

Is the work on the prom actually stopping or does it fall under the still allowed critical national infrastructure.

My friend , who has a couple of shops on the Prom says they were packing up there gear this afternoon and he's not one to speculate . We will know for sure tomorrow but it seems yes they have stopped .

Given the speed they have been working, stopping won’t be a problem

You won't say that when they put your camper on a weighbridge to bleed you dry for your next tax disc!

Just on a point of order.  It's the maximum gross weight of the camper that counts. Nothing to do with weighbridges. The MGW is on the Vin plate and the registration document.

It was tounge in cheek! Though 3.5 tonnes is going to sting!

They seem to have gone into reverse at the moment ripping up the new and replacing it with the ... wait a minute! Wasn't it meant to be the other way round?

So by that measure, stopping is actually progress. How f'd up is that?
