Non-Believer
3FM News, Daffers to further quiz Tim Baker on Promenade issues during next virtual sitting on March 9th. She wants to know where the tram will terminate in July and if and when it will actually be operational for the summer. Further questions as to the cost of finishing the track to the south end of Loch Promenade and as to when DOI will seek tenders for this work. At least one of them is asking some questions. 1

Summer is not happening re Trams ! Finishing this stage , remembering south from Sefton onwards they were going back to in September . Current finish date for works is June 30 th but thats already gone due to this lock down so that takes us to end of July . There is no way Auldyn are going to be finished works currently in progress with snagging , putting right all thats wrong and doing the works correctly. This already suggested in MyProm minutes that they have big doubts over timescale offered up by Auldyn . If they are finished current intended works by beginning of August we will be lucky . Also seeking timescale from DOI is one thing but getting the budget from Treasury will be another . Edited March 6, 2021 by Numbnuts

Most small motorhomes and panel van conversions (ducato) will be 3.5t so will be able to legally park anywhere a car can. Only the very large motorhomes will be >3.5t and so the proposed legislation to ban 'campervans' parking on public streets will make no difference. Not worried about the parking more the tax on weight thing.

I might have dreamt this but isn't the tax on larger motorhomes just the same if the cubic capacity is <2500cc. Bases on cc not weight anyway
