Are there not published regulations for markings on and approaching a roundabout?.

The railway welders are back too (not necessarily the same ones though).

There is a new crossing in the region of the empress.  When you come off it there are those red bobbled bits for visually impaired people.

They lead you straight from the crossing accords a new pavement, to a five inch kerb drop onto the walkway.

Also the crossing by Sam Webb’s is an accident waiting to happen.

Feels like a continuation of the pavement and is only a matter of time until someone walks straight out in front of a car.

Mind you the artists impression outside the gaiety actually show a trendy young dude crossing the road while staring at his phone so maybe that is what they expect.

And what the hell is that thing outside the Sefton.

The tax payer bailed out Sefton group have contributed to a farcical tax payer funded project, but don't have a good history of keeping up with their own tax payments?

Only on the Isle of Man

Yes, and for the approach to Zebra Crossings.

Remember, the powers that be think we don't need sensible road traffic rules on the island, we don't have speed limits out of town and the Police have given up enforcing the speed limits we do have.

There will be serious accidents involving life changing injuries on the new prom from both the "Zebras" and these "Roundals"

They have not took onboard the St Johns tragedy,.

It Is a disgrace.

A person was already hit at the bottom of Broadway when it was open during the work. The traffic light crossing was too close to the actual stop sign (below the legally required safety distance).

There was a damage only RTC too where someone barreled through the green light coming down Broadway thinking that was a green light for priority to head out onto the Prom.

Quite how any of this is approved by the so-called Director of Highways and his chums is a total mystery.

with the length of rail and the temp changes on the prom welding is not the best idea,  good old fishplates/expansion joints are needed.  the expansion movement in the steel will be making cracks i9n any concrete that is touching the rail, it's all basic stuff

The new bit at the bottom of Broadway. I prefer not to call it a roundabout as its not round. I think it looks silly at best but could be very confusing.
