Driver2020
It would cost a lot money to get rid of the likes of Jeff Robinson.

Bring him before PAC and ask to explain why no-one in his department thought to test the colour of tarmac at Kirk Michael before they laid it outside a school on the TT course. Or why they still haven't re-laid road markings they removed as we head into November when people are commuting in darkness. Or someone spent hours strimming the grass around the black and white roadside bollards on the mountain road but didn't even attempt to repalce the missing, broken or keeled over ones? Ask him if he signed off on non-standard designs for crossings that contradict his own departments guidelines and have resulted, or at least contributed, in someones death. Weren't there something like a 700 - 1,000 potholes reported and waiting for something to be done? Or the NHT survey reports on public satisfaction with condition of our roads? UK average 36% 2020 Condition of Highways 28% 2019 Condition of Highways 34% 2018 Condition of Highways 23% He is literally paid to run the highways department is he not? Hold him to account and get him on record. And if tries to throw sub-ordinates under the bus, bring them in too. Let them air the dirty laundry. But there is probably more chance of him being promoted to NB's old job. 2

According to Rob Callister not for a couple of years to give the businesses a chance to recover. Makes sense tbh so they will probably ignore that and start on Monday January 3rd .. watch this space . Personally if they did something stupid like that that will really be a struggle to sort the course out for TT Practice . Think they have there hands full anyway with it tbh. There was some additions from memory done after this picture was taken. From my days doing groundworks none of that is legal or safe . Cables going directly over gas pipes etc. I really haven't a clue how that was signed off . Its a disgrace . Driver2020
If the water main ever burst the material surrounding the pipe would turn to slop.
