The same people seem to have designed Douglas Promenade drainage too as there are plenty of spots with the drains above the flow of the water. finlo
They're not drains they're overflows they only come into force once the water reaches 4 inches deep. 1

I meant significantly though. i.e take the natural sideways camber off completely by banking it
0bserver
Now the zebra crossing adjacent to the Empress Hotel is closed off and appears to be getting dug up.

I thought it swayed more towards disability access than cycling. Although on our terrible roads which have sod all cycling safety features where they are actually needed, cycling has a high risk of being a precursor to death or disability anyway. Hopefully the successful candidate will be able to improve matters Edited February 24, 2022 by Happier diner

Ghost Ship
Some months ago somebody posted a photo showing patches of multi-coloured tarmac/pavement on the prom. Can anybody remember it and be good enough to direct me to it? I want to show it to someone but I can't track it down. Can't remember if it was this year or towards end of 2021. Thanks

Ghost Ship
Thanks. That's one I didn't find in my search. It's a good example, but it's actually too geometric and regular. The one I'm thinking about was just an area of pavement, I think, and I don't think there were any straight lines to the different coloured patches. It wasn't quite psychadelic but it wasn't regular either. Is there a way of searching for images in a thread or is it hit and miss?
