Its not an outdoor Tardis. If you widen the gap between tracks and use the same trams then it follows that there is less room to pass. The crayonaistas did however use some stupid micro car width for the estimate of the parking bays so in their heads there is a multi lane superhighway either side of the trams........ Wait till the trams start running properly, it will be gridlock central down there 🙂 Edited July 7, 2022 by Boris Johnson

Omobono
the vehicles they have used for the test must be the same micro vehicles they use to calculate the width of car parking spaces when measuring out , you only need a couple of 4 by 4's and a transit van parked on the prom and you will never get traffic through the gap between the parked vehicles and the horse tram , the whole thing is a shambles , and what sort of steel are the new rails made from if they have to be de rusted and refaced , the ones they replaced were made fro cast steel and in a life over 130 years never required to be refaced ,just the groove cleaned out at the start of the season to remove the sand and small stones ,

Not convinced. I though there would be less space but the very hesitant Range Rover had around three foot of space on his right between himself and the tram. There is a bye law that limits the speed limits for bikes to 10 mph. A few signs to that effect might help. They should get that useless wazzock of a byelaw officer walking up and down and stopping them. The exercise wouldn't do him any harm either... So I'm quite within my rights to divert them over the fence if they're doing over 10 mph? 😁
