Some people seem to be so keen to be angry about something that they can’t even be bothered reading things before they go on the attack they wanted to make before they even read the post.

No you bellsctatch, if you actually read the thread I posted the link 48hrs prior to your stiffy.

What’s the latest on this? March this year, saw nothing in the “media” or has it been nodded through with a wink and handshake.

There has been a bit in the media.  The case was thrown out in May by Deemster Corlett in a Petition of Doleance ruling.  Basically he said that the person who issued the summons in May 2022 for prosecution on behalf of the Manx government, an English QC called Timothy Green, wasn't entitled to do so.  He'd been granted the power to do so in a particular case back in 2015 (there's reasons and a timetable in the ruling) and seemed to think he could still do so seven years later.

He's clearly now appealing against Corlett's ruling as in the above court listing.  If that fails, whether the case could then be taken up by the current AG or someone he designates, I don't know.  It's all very mysterious and Green is presumably acting on behalf of the UK government or some agency of it (HMRC?, FSA?) and it's not clear why it's so important to revive a case from 2009.
