When I was voting in the UK I did not have a "party". I voted for the candidate/party that I felt was most appropriate to me and my values at the time. That meant that I voted for different parties at each election and often would vote differently in a general election to how I would vote at a local election. I'm sure you are not silly enough to subscribe to the nonsense that Nazis were socialist solely based on them having socialist in their party name. They were 100% not socialists.
