Surely what matters isn't the source but the content.  In this example it adds a very important fact that significantly affects the relevance of the woman leaving the department to the presence of Ms Patel.

It only affects the allegations against her in relation to that particular case.

The other allegations are being investigated.

Yes, but it's being used as "halo-evidence".

Take your political bias out of it.  If this was a Labour Party Minister would you feel the same?

The alleged constructive dismissal of Philip Rutman should be examined solely on the merits of the case free from political interference and media reporting.  I have already stated that the media have a poor record when it comes to recording employment tribunal cases.

But it won't be.

If it goes before the Employment Tribunals it will be.

You are getting very excited by a "trial by media" and Labour Politicians trying to make hay while the sun shines.  This is something that all parties engage in on a regular basis.  It often seems that they prefer to put down and "point score" against the opposition rather than actually engage in a sensible debate regarding the future of the country and its population.

Let's call a spade a spade.  This isn't about some egocentric self entitled snob with an awful work record (Windrush being one example) having his nose put out of joint by being told what to do, it's principally about trying to take PP out because she is the antithesis of the dwellers in ivory towers and a key part of draining the swamp program.

If Priti Vacant Patel isn't fit to be in the role then she should be replaced.

This isn't rocket science....

I suggest you look up the origins of that saying...

It is about poor management whichever way you cut it.

There are perfectly lawful ways in which an employee can be removed from their post.  It appears that in the rush to "drain the swamp" corners are being cut and this type of case will be the result.

From what I have Priti Patel is delivering exactly what is required. It's time that the civil servants, especially the senior civil servants were reminded of what their role should be in British government which is very different from the case in the European Commission, something they have adopted.  The Swamp is not limited to the population, it extends into the civil service too.

Dear me. The Wail.

All the usual suspects quoting all the usual nonsense.

The Daily Wail, The Telegraph, now just waiting on The Express followed by the intellectual insights of The Sun.

There's an air of desperation creeping into this. Instead of just posting up nonsense from totally discredited sources why not just wait to see what surfaces?

It's just the sensible thing to do.

Ahhhhhh..... Right.

lefty times reporter posted it actually.........

Roger, what part of "If Priti Vacant Patel isn't fit to be in the role then she should be replaced" is it that you don't understand?

The part that says "Priti Patel isn't fit to be in the role".  Evidently based on her performance she absolutely is.
