Speaking at the Downing Street press briefing, Chancellor Rishi Sunak said the money would help pay the wages of more than a million people.

“The Treasury said the system can process up to 450,000 applications an hour. Employers should receive the money within six working days of making an application, it said”. That is truly impressive. I wonder what the final numbers will be here?

Maybe they could spend five minutes processing our applications for us?

I see Denmark are talking about not giving any support to businesses which are registered in tax havens!

Can't be as impressive as our numbers. According to your post on the other thread, our sympathetic Govt has received over 3000 applications for financial support to businesses but has only even replied to 400. Awesome stuff.
