It shows that between Tomorrow and Sunday there are 2,599 vaccinations booked. That's approx 520 a day ...could be reading it completely wrong though. Really? Nah.... What happens if you are in a flat and have to come down 4 flights of stairs to confirm you are in and it is you? Not sure this has been that well thought out. It's a system that has been working fine with thousands of visits since last summer. Sure they have figured out how to deal with flats by now. Holte End
Been past the Grandstand four times today and never saw one car at testing tent, so has testing been stopped.

You can't rely on the Monday figures for accuracy in the overall picture, it's long been that way due to the lag in weekend reporting. Tuesday's and even Wednesday's figures will provide a more accurate picture. And so it proves. Another 1631 deaths in the last 24hrs pushes UK's toll over the 100,000 mark (100,162, Source, Sky News). Worries as well over the increasing number of victims in the 30 - 50 age group. No The figures are clearly published every day. Testing is by appointment, so if they had 50 to do today if you didn't drive past at the times they were bookend in and the testing was open you wouldn't see any vehicles Edited January 26, 2021 by horatiotheturd

No, they did 160 in the last 24 hours. But numbers have been falling and most of those must be the 1/6/13 pre-arranged tests or hospital-based ones. I presume people are given a slot for the 1/6/13 ones and if there aren't any others booked in after, the swabbers probably go back to base. Barlow
There were over 5k viewers for the IoM Covid briefing (usually there are between 1k and 3k viewers). States of Guernsey briefing started at 16:30 with over 14k viewers. The briefing was delayed, various reasons but only the Deputy and Dr Brink at the briefing. They were both wearing masks and socially distanced throughout. Isle of Man guys do not wear masks during the press briefings, and Dr Allinson doesn't do masks* anyway but I think of all of them he should wear a mask. But he knows best and they surely lap up his every word. Clearly Guernsey thinks differently. So does most of the World. Guernsey has clear guidelines on mask wearing, which seem to be realistic and pragmatic We need to keep watching Guernsey and how they are handling matters, but they're really going through it again just now. *Just watched the video. At beginning just caught mask being shoved into pocket like an old discarded hankie, à la Howard. Edited January 26, 2021 by Barlow
