Listening to the briefing it sounds like we are afraid to make decisions until some other jurisdictions has made them - namely Guernsey. It's a bit pathetic.

Yes Howie quoted Guernsey not vaccinated ferry staff but picked up by Tim Glover saying you don’t compare normally!!

Ooooops!

They're all rattled.

Apparently the SP staff haven't been isolating at all after their shift - according to the staff - according to Henny they are.

Glad that's been cleared up.

Who’s going to isolate for the whole year , working all week and then staying in when off, are the ones on press conference for real??

This is following a similar pattern to the xmas and new year clusters.  Love the passing the buck, Ashie putting it on Henrietta's toes - she batting it back.  No one wants any accountability here.  Very poor.

There's gonna be a hangin.....for someone.

HQ is not gonna be happy with that shambles. Someone will have to pay.

I'm appalled at the way they've talked about evidence around the vaccine and transmission rates.

Instead of saying 'we don't yet know if', they're saying it absolutely doesn't reduce the risk of transmission and that's that. But we're jabbing all our transport people now anyway, but that's not because it helps.

Howie very rattled, they obviously had duff information on steam packet isolating rules, someone in for a bollocking😀

They obviously never had the IOMSPCo confirm this was happening which is a serious flaw. What do they say about the word assume? It makes an ass out of u and me.

So, the Steam Packet staff come off shift and isolate with their family and then go back on shift.

Isn't that a mighty risk taking protocol? After they've been on the boat with people returning from the UK?

Phew, no lockdown, thank goodness :) As for the Steam-Packet crews isolating, yes the crew members may need to self isolate on return but the family members that live with them don’t, that’s the hole in the net isn’t it?

We've been aware of this from the get go! It's been discussed on here several times. How did our government not know of the biggest threat to the island of the virus spreading?
