But what group are you in? You're fit and healthy aren't you? Not being sarcastic or owt. Maybe that's why, what sort of condition is this queue-jumper you mention?

Yes I am fit and healthy but I booked in a week ago so why are people younger than me (like my brother) now able to get theirs sooner when I have to wait for the new year?

45 plus and fit and healthy (but apparently vulnerable according to the dr)  to answer your question

I see no rhyme nor reason in this roll-out up to now. Yours is not the only case, I'm sure. Why is it so..?

Two colleagues have contacted me TT is morning saying their LFTs are positive.

That takes the total to 4 and the first 2 are confirmed by PCR.

That means I now know 9 people in my immediate social/work circle who are stuck at home unable to earn or socialise without a symptom between them.  If they weren’t doing LFTs they wouldn’t know.

This is insane.  How long do we keep this madness going on for.  They are going to kill businesses with this nonsense.

Until the next variant and they assert even more control.

What?

that isn’t what has happened at all 😂

It is exactly what has happened. They were giving 1000 boosters a day. Now they have ramped up to 1700 a day.

Good job they were doing LFTs then. That is the whole point of doing tests while asymptomatic. What is wrong with you? The whole scenario becomes "insane" when it affects a few people you know?

Had it myself and found out from positive LFD, no symptoms. Then symptoms arrived and I was quite bad with it. I am glad I found out before I got sick so I didn't pass it in to my vulnerable family members or anyone else.

Not really, it was their choice to do an LFT, it was their choice to report the positive LFT in order to get a PCR test and they knew a positive test would mean they would be trapped for 10 days, how is any of that the governments fault?

It is achievable. Everything is with enough investment.

The vaccines booking system doesn't run on Medway, it's based on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 system. Vaccines run on the same system as the testing and the travel.

Is there a need to make what is really a temporary system talk to Medway?

They had the oppo to buy a fully integrated system a while back, but chose not to.    Even a temporary addition to Medway would take weeks or more to install and test.    Believe me I'm in a position to know.

Were those colleagues amongst those in the maskless offices you've been visiting lately?
