Total confirmed cases is 414 8 new cases - 4 linked to existing case, 3 linked to travel and 1 unknown. 36 active cases, of which 1 is in hospital. Also their hospital figures are wrong. Hetty talking absolute nonsense i expected better. Edited January 13, 2021 by The Chief
TheTeapot
They both sound a bit cranky today, so the questions might be fairly amusing.

Isn't that the definition of a community case?

Looks like something some jumped up police force across would come up with. This minute biological entity is spawning all kinds of spin offs, there will no end to dipping in the taxpayer funded trough . No idea why a police unit has to be labelled a 'Covid Response Unit'. How about just a response unit that deals with people who break conditions/laws or do we not already have one of those? They had the exact same last lockdown.

snowman
From Manx Radio: Mr Ashford says we are getting our per-capita share of each vaccine. Mr Ashford says we'll be sticking to manufacturers' recommendations of when to give the second dose. We have our first tray of the Oxford vaccine, roughly 700 doses. The crown indemnity has been signed and inoculations should begin next week. Edited January 13, 2021 by snowman
jaymann
Ah Dr Ewart says the unknown cases are not community cases, but sporadic community spread.

They've been discussing it since at least Xmas.
