I’m not saying they magic up staff. Im sure it’s a problem getting people to the island. I’m merely saying that might be why they said beds.

I'm sure a definition of 'usable beds' rather than a physical count of beds is more appropriate terminology.

Ah ok.

I must have misunderstood "simple failure of management/HR to get more in"

Probably veered over more to one side than I should’ve- my bad. The problem is lack of transparency. I totally appreciate there will be problem with employing staff, but at the same time, that IS a problem.

Thats not fair.

Where are they meant to just magic extra staff up from?

Look on the recruitment sites.  They are offering higher salaries than UK, paid relocation and full pay while people isolate and still can't attract them here

The culture up there means staff retention will always be a problem.

Silly boy. Are you getting mixed up with waiting times in A&E with people with soar toes and broken finger nails ?

Silly old man. It’s SORE. Are you getting toes and birdies mixed up?

you still haven’t replied with why you don’t believe there was a queue?

It was an attempt on life by overdose. I don't exactly consider it the same as a broken bloody toe and I'd encourage dilli to show some respect that just because it's not a positive sentiment, doesn't mean that it isn't true.
