They haven't.   It was largely selfish people making unnecessary trips.

Well I have to make a trip soon , being putting it off for 6 months now waiting for things to improve, but at some point I will have to. How is that selfish?

Depends on the reason or reasons behind the trip which you have not divulged. Without those, prima facie it does seem selfish.

If you have to....it won't be unnecessary....and therefore not selfish

Thank you. I will wait until it is most safe for all. That’s why I’ve being putting it off for so long. I’ll not divulge why but it is very necessary.

If I have not done it yet and am waiting why is it selfish ? Life has to go on and things need to happen. Zoom does not solve everything. And what I need to do I cannot do from here remotely.

Is this testing of our waste water a shit idea or what?

Didn't she who must not be named (Dr. Glover) not mention this months ago?

When the Director of Public Health speaks at the briefings, it just saves having to read the newspapers and various websites. There's rarely any innovation, decision or specialist knowledge.

Testing sewage has been around for yonks, The arterial makeup of sewers means you can pinpoint a virus and other stuff to a household.

As you say life needs to carry on, ignore those who wish to judge. Follow the set isolation rules upon your return and nobody should complain, even if it was any of their business in the first place.

Thank you. Not going anywhere yet as I am waiting for the right time to minimize risk for me and anyone here. Got stuck last year and did 14 days so am sure I can do it again. Don’t want to but the need will eventually have to be dealt with.
