It is. An indication of the highest levels of boorish self-regard and significance. It's obsessional behaviour and mentally unhealthy, indicative of nuclear neuroticism. And if you care to visit Iomtoady and local twitter the same personalities infest those fora with the same egoist zeal. Fucking mental...

Steady now.  You can't use words like that:thumbsup:

Except that use of Ward 20 has now stopped when the Chester Street 'hub' opened.  There are no plans for a fixed Northern centre, just the occasional 'pop-up'  with those who can't get to elsewhere pre-booked and apparently using the staff from the Airport, which won't be operating on those days.  So there's only two in effect, which is a bit under the number that would be in the UK.

Fair comment, although it is also worth bearing in mind that about two thirds of the 1600 vaccination centres in England are community pharmacies and GP surgeries which, given that they also have to carry on their normal work, probably won't have nearly as much capacity as specifically developed hubs. It is difficult to know, but it probably works out around the same capacity per capita. I think that would surprise a lot of people, not necessarily on MF, but certainly on other SM sites where it seems to be a common perception that England is way ahead of the IoM in terms of capacity.

True but that does not matter. The strategy here was ( big time fingers crossed ) wait for a vaccine. They have one , it will be rolled out curtesy of Westminster , but don’t expect our borders to open until 2022 at the earliest. In Oz and NZ they have not even started vaccination so here is doing , not great , but ok.

If you think they're mental then read this:

Government previously entertained this individual as " A Healthcare Innovation Consultant" according to the article. Whose judgement was that then?

thats Linkedin speak for promoting a private insurance funded healthcare system. Google search is full of them with key words like 'profits' 'fees' 'collection' 'debt default' on them.

Well a Google search brings up the text from May 2014: Courtenay Heading, Biomed, Inward Investment Consultant to the Isle of Man Government commented: 'I'm delighted to be working with UMI3...".  But strangely the associated press release has gone missing.  So clearly this was the DfE or DED as it was then.

The Minister then was still Shimmin I think, who always came across as slightly less gormless than Skelly, but was actually just as big a mug.  Neither could see a chancer without thinking they were the next big thing.  But that's pretty much how this most typical department of the Manx government operates.

In his  desperate desire to be noticed, he has  gone too far.

Naming  individuals “war criminals” is ludicrous, references to Nuremberg  will be seen as offensive to anyone any knowledge of twentieth century and the holocaust.

Two of the individuals he  names are doctors  and I would be surprised if the reference to Mengele  is not seen  by them to be a  particularly vile insult.

He goes on to threaten a reporter for previously failing to fall in with his views by saying “we are coming..  and the police won’t save you”

Hahaha.

What a fucking prick that man is.

Yes, but he was the Government's in all fairness. They thought he was wonderful and brilliant for the island. Says a lot for our Ministers personal judgement of people and character.

He shouldn't have the oxygen of publicity.  He seems to be another 'common law' nutter.  I look forward to the charges of assault and false imprisonment when he exercises his "common law right" of arrest.

which he will do whilst one of his 'followers' films it, not because of common law but for clicks and views (aka ad revenue) for his social media as he whores himself out to the companies (aka Apple) promoting the 5G he apparently is blaming for everything.
