True but that does not matter. The strategy here was ( big time fingers crossed ) wait for a vaccine. They have one , it will be rolled out curtesy of Westminster , but don’t expect our borders to open until 2022 at the earliest. Well a Google search brings up the text from May 2014: Courtenay Heading, Biomed, Inward Investment Consultant to the Isle of Man Government commented: 'I'm delighted to be working with UMI3...". But strangely the associated press release has gone missing. So clearly this was the DfE or DED as it was then. The Minister then was still Shimmin I think, who always came across as slightly less gormless than Skelly, but was actually just as big a mug. Neither could see a chancer without thinking they were the next big thing. Naming individuals “war criminals” is ludicrous, references to Nuremberg will be seen as offensive to anyone any knowledge of twentieth century and the holocaust. Two of the individuals he names are doctors and I would be surprised if the reference to Mengele is not seen by them to be a particularly vile insult.
