You don't want to do the rozzers early anyway. There're some proper knobs in there who denigrate the hard work of fellow emergency services workers just to score cheap points on a web forum..............apparently.:whistling:

The worst ones are probably the ones who work for the tax office who collect the revenue to pay for all the other bell ends.

It is quite possible that because of 'collective responsibilty' some comin views may have been out voted but these MHKs have the possibility of resigning their seat in Comin???? ... and to speak in their own mind?

That they don't wish to do speaks of the power of the CM and Comin???

What’s the English translation of that?

See now this is a thing worth raising.

We get the occasional blast of brilliance from Alf.

Obviously the Minister for Home Afffairs, who you'd expect to have some reasonable amount of input on issues of home affairs is a blubbering idiot, so you can see why they'd keep him away from the lectern, but what exactly are the rest off them doing?

Skelly made I think two appearances to say, well I don't know, and Harmer did early when still DoI.

CoMin met for hours yesterday but we don't know what was said.

These people have our lives in their hands.

Oh

My

God

It’s actually quite scary when you think about it all these people having a countries lives in their hands but seemingly are not accountable for their decisions.

I don’t for a second think they all think the same way they must have there own opinions

The key word in his comment  "the most wastage occurred in the week ending 15th February" is the word most. So this is not a one off occurrence and probably not the first.  How many in total I wonder? I recall the SPO needed 70.

Sad that the medics on the ground had neither the initiative, sense of urgency or most probably the permission not to waste these jabs. Much much worse is their superiors who after the first time this occurred had neither the sense of urgency, responsibility or initiative to decide this was utterly unacceptable and draft up a reserve list of candidates for such instances, such as Police Officers, or SPO staff?

Can't even imagine an acceptable excuse for a leader in these circumstances.

"I wasn't made aware" - your team, your culture, your fault.  "We didn't have the time to organise it" - only acceptable for the first week

This, with the SPO fiasco, speaks volumes about the urgency and attention to detail being paid to this by HQ, Ministers and their senior advisors. Presumably due to the complete invulnerability they feel due to the long standing patience of the Manx public which is hopefully finite.  Until then for God's sake won't the media hold them to account?

A reserve list is the way to go, perhaps of 100 people who are available at very short notice drawn from those front lines who would most benefit from an orderly queue jump.

Hardly rocket salad to arrange is it?

Especially with so many government spare parts 'working from home' again.

Beats gardening and painting.

The vaccine does NOT stop the person contacting the virus. The vaccine does NOT stop the person spreading the virus. It DOES reduce the symptoms of the virus, it DOES reduce the need for hospitalisation of the person, it DOES reduce the need for the person to be taken to the ICU and it DOES reduce the chances of death of the person from the virus.

So the calls to vaccinate the IOMSPco crews, police, children and such as opposed to the most vulnerable are clearly misguided. The younger you are, the less chance you have of harsh effects, hospitalisation or death.

as the U.K. top medical experts are saying - the best usage of the vaccine remains that based on solely an age criteria.

Further to past convictions..........

In view of the allowance for the SPco's 'misunderstanding', then could not that misunderstanding be past applied to other convictions?

Yes, the majority were of 'known' miscreants, perhaps with multiple warnings but it is the not known 'miscreants' who stopped off for fuel between boat and home who may have grounds to appeal their sentence in view of the SPco letting of on 'reasonable misunderatanding'

This should be a review of the  convictions, by the prosecution  Dept rather than a need to launch an appeal for the defendants???

Well, it isn't is it?  Surprising that they don't have a reserve list anyway given that every dose is sacred (viz the Catholic song from The Meaning of Life).
