As HRH The Chief Minister likes to boast endlessly and needlessly about how great the island is, and it’s constant one upmanship against Guernsey and Jersey, Im sure he will have the opportunity at the Newspapers awards in April ..................... sorry will probably be cancelled yet again due to political incontinence.

The Chief Minister has not boasted endlessly and needlessly about how great the Island is re COVID. When interviewed by the UK and other media his responses have always been measured.

Nor has he exhibited any one upmanship about the Channel Islands. When we were in a better position than them (don’t know if we still are) he was always empathetic to their situation ( probably a reflection of his “there but for the grace of God” mentality). Indeed when the air bridge with Guernsey operated we were very much in partnership. Did you hear him dissing them?

Ourselves and the Channel Islands can always learn from each other and it would make little sense for the CM or statesmen from the other islands to antagonize each other in a game of who is best at dealing with COVID-19

Make valid criticism by all means but don’t make stuff up.

The main thing the Channel Islands could learn from Howard Quayle?

Ignore all the amateur politicians on local forums telling you what you should have done earlier or better.

So do everything late and badly and fuck everyones life up?

Really?  Yku don't think there was an insinuation in the Sky interview that the UK public hadn't done the right thing and that is why they were were not as mega as we are?

The BBC and ITV today both seemed to take great delight in us being back in lockdown. The BBC even re-ran the pub opening video clips with everyone smirking and necking down their pints as if almost to under line the point that the celebrations in hindsight look a little .. smug.
