IOM Covid removing restrictions

Here on MF everyone is entitled to anonymity until they, their selves decide other wise?

But Amadeus decided to waive that anonymity a long time ago. Certainly when he tried to jump on the gravy train, but many times since.

It would be a bit hypocritical to announce his candidature under his MF account, presumably hoping that those that liked Amadeus's posts voted for Frank, then expect anonymity when it's over. But he's not the one who's done that, is he?

Which days figures are we up to now anyway? I have a sneaking suspicion we are already out of lockdown with zero community cases, it's just that they can't announce it until 2 weeks time, lest we realise there's been a fudge going on.

The right to be forgotten.

Maybe Gladys has nailed the Government policy on figures without realising!

Well that’s good, at least he’s now on their radar if anything else happens in the future, it was a missed gear change away from having a big smash.

Five seconds into the video you can see the vehicle being passed hit his brakes. If he hadn't done so, missed gear change or no missed gear change, there likely would have been a nasty accident.

There probably were a few nasty accidents anyway, resulting in folks going home to change their keks.

Indeed. It was effectively just before a blind bend.

Feckin irresponsible idiot. Lots about unfortunately...I've witnessed several near misses like that...and I suspect most of us have over the years.

Indeed we have, because... (everyone knows what coming and thinks 'STFU Uhtred')...the standard of driving on this Island is fucking abysmal. I think there's a secret lottery and every month 10 people are given a driving licence without having to take a test.

Neither the van or the oncoming car take serious evasive action ie thinking a smash is going to be inevitable though, yes the van did brake a little because you can see Amadeus starts to close the gap slightly, but it’s not emergency stop style.

That’s not me defending the drivers actions, I still think it was incredible luck rather than any sort of skill that meant an accident didn’t occur.

Can't see an issue with the overtake tbh.

Its a fast car and you have much better visibility over to the left from his drivers seat (with side window etc) than you do from that camera angle which is dead ahead and a good distance further back.

Anyway, clearly in the minority and the Facebook police have spoken - although the actual traffic police obviously didn't see much wrong with it or they would have done something.

You can't have a person walk your dog for two weeks.  That needs putting right again ASAP it's disgusting.

The actual consideration for peoples mental health (and animal wefare) from these clowns is appalling.

If you are self isolating and have a cat do you now need to bolt the cat flap home and let them shit in the house in case they hop over the fence.

Absolute clowns

Its indefensible when you look at some of the other stuff that is allowed.  They can't possibly think its an actual risk? If they do it would explain the mess we are in.

I would imagine the animal rights people will be all over it and they will be made to look stupid and reverse it by tomorrow lunchtime if not end of today.

Total whoppers

I think you can do long as there isn't a face to face handover and they have their own lead.

Sorry, just saw the 3fm link, daft, just daft.  Does anyone of IOMG understand how bonkers a dog can be without exercise?
