This is all about Quayle and Ashford  going "Look at us - aren't we good!" rather than what is best for the people of the Island.

Getting 5000 shots into people in 5 days is a very good thing. You may be partly right about meeting targets for optics, but come on.

It won’t, I’m involved with a few trust’s where the investment managers have outperformed the index consistently over the past 5 year and particularly over past 9 months by knowing stocks to pick

Over the years and on average the indexes will nearly always outperform managed funds. And very few investment managers make it good through more than one cycle.

Most investors are best tracking the indexes and the costs are much lower (then perhaps putting a small proportion into riskier assets for potential growth).

What is so difficult about telling people that headaches and muscle aches are a symptom of the Kent variant. Yes, I heard Hetty waffling about different jurisdictions using different criteria (in between greasing up PM) but it was all waffle. Just report the facts FFS!

Their only concern was receiving the vaccine and being in the vaccine hub with others who may be vulnerable, asides from that they’re shielding anyway, so overall risk to others would be low.

Particularly when Ashford claimed yesterday that they didn't want to re-book appointments that people had already been given and that was why they had been keeping all those doses in reserve.

However it's quite clear what is actually going on here.  They have decided that they are going to do 1000 vaccinations a day for at least five days (implying longer).  So everything has been directed towards doing that. - all that matters is getting that number.  The AZ vaccine is easier and quicker to administer and Chester Street will be easier for most people to get to, so they are using up their stocks of AZ there (even though it's set up for Pfizer) so as to make the numbers.

This is all about Quayle and Ashford  going "Look at us - aren't we good!" rather than what is best for the people of the Island.

That's a whole heap of horse shit right there Roger.

But you stated the index will outperform any fund which is just wrong like most of your statements!

You are never going to be able to predict which fund happens to outperform the index. Because it almost never happens twice.

Going into a new investment you have almost zero chance of outperforming the indexes.

ETA: you might beat the indexes by betting on red. You probably won't.

But I’ve just told you I know of several that have consistently outperformed indexes, you haven’t got a clue so just admit it!

Name them then. Let's look at their performance over 10 year, 20 years, 30 years.

Probably not. Fill me in then because what heard sounded like waffle. And then people reporting that they had no idea they had it till PM asked the question.

Well, if you smile nicely I might, but just this one time! ;)

*trusts. Without the apostrophe.

Thought someone in your business might’ve already pointed that out to you by now.
