I think you’ll be proved wrong as you usually are, all in track in UK & all UK AZ vaccinations are manufactured in UK

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56544236

EU are threatening to block export of Pfizer vaccine to uk unless uk export some AZ to eu. Either way there will be a shortage of vaccine.

You do read the news, don't you?

Good. Data protection only applies to people who are still alive btw. So there are no issues with releasing information about the deceased.

No you're wrong:

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes —

(a) personal data of which the applicant is the data subject;

(b) personal census information;

or (c) a deceased person’s health record.

That doesn't mean that information can't be released that doesn't identify individuals, though.

Yep! Day 2 of 21 of no unexplained cases required to end lockdown.

Already been said we don’t need 21 days to end lockdown, on course to allow construction & garden centers plus outside meetings 6th April , don’t you listen to briefings ?

F1 qualifying, Moto 2 Qualifying and daily testing figures all at once. 4PM on a Saturday hasn't been as exciting for a while 😂

To be fair you could at least double the excitement of the F1 whenever it's on by painting a wall before it starts and watching it dry while it's on.

Seems like a lot of political posturing by the EU, unless they really feel that they want to add to the growing stock of unused AZ vaccine they already have, and are reluctant to use.

I do, all of them, and I've not heard mention of that.

This is from Thursday, CM answering questions , note 6th April was only 12 days away with community cases still. He mentioned construction etc in answer.

When will the lockdown end?

Too early. We might be able to make some modest changes around 6th April if we don’t get more community spread.

The u turn they will have to make when they realise a big chunk of the ingredients for the Pfizer vaccines come from the UK will be funny though.

That's for construction and some other outdoor activities - ie a relaxation, not an end. There has been no announced change in policy of 21 days free of community cases before the lockdown ends. That doesn't mean that it won't, but to say it's been announced in a briefing or publicly elsewhere is not correct.

Not so for health records. Patient confidentiality extends beyond death. There are certain circumstances where it is a requirement to release information (such as death certificates) but they are the exception rather than the rule.

It is the Access to Health Records Act 1993 that covers it. You have to have a good reason to give out someone's medical details after their death.
